Angela Allport Performing Arts School, Southend on Sea,Essex

A Premier School - For pupils aged 3 years and above.

Angela Allport is a Fellow of The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and an examiner of Classical Ballet. Her Performing Arts School first opened in 1979 in Grays, Essex with only 20 pupils. Her training philosophy: 'Visualise your dream and together let us achieve it' soon gave rise to a reputation of excellence and a growing number of eager pupils. In 1983, a second school was opened in Barling Magna. Over the years, the popularity of the school grew to such proportions that expansion was inevitable.

The Barling Magna School moved to LA Fitness in 1999 where the studios are of the highest standard. The excellent facilities and luxurious surroundings cater for parents and pupils alike. Parents do not have to become members for their children to attend classes.

The schools have gone from strength to strength under Angela's guidance and now have over 300 pupils between them. Angela says that she has just one goal: 'To provide a caring and fun environment, to train children to reach their individual goals. It is essential that the training of the pupil is balanced in all areas of the performing arts in order to develop versatility, confidence and personality.

All children are special to Angela and her aim in life is to encourage them to believe in themselves and whatever aspirations and dreams they have and to share the enjoyment of dance.
